A free work on the subject of dignity.
Dignity is a fundamental human right that belongs to every individual. However, moral integrity and ethical standards are often disregarded, particularly affecting marginalized groups. Women, individuals whose sexuality deviates from the norm, as well as People of Color, are disproportionately subjected to disrespect and are often victims of physical and psychological violence. This leads to the suppression of one's true self behind one or more facades, masks, being hidden. These masks must be removed. Every person is entitled to dignified treatment.
